Pondicherry University Students with Arrears Can Apply for Revaluation

Date:

Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 16: Pondicherry University has enabled its online revaluation system, offering relief to students who have up to two arrears in their examinations. As per the latest circular issued to affiliated institutions in the A&N Islands, eligible students must act swiftly to apply for revaluation or re-totaling before the strict deadline of April 21, 2025.

The university has clarified that students with more than two arrears are not eligible under the current regulation for this round. Those applying are required to submit their application forms along with detailed subject information and a demand draft (DD) of ₹500 per subject, drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, Pondicherry University, payable at Pondicherry.

“All applications must reach the Academic Cell on or before the forenoon of April 21. No applications will be accepted post the deadline,” the notification emphasizes.

This measure comes as part of the university’s regular academic audit and evaluation mechanism to ensure transparency and give deserving students a fair chance to improve their academic standing.

Officials from the Academic Cell have advised students to double-check their subject codes and mark sheets before submission to avoid rejection due to clerical errors.

The announcement has created a flurry of activity in college campuses across the islands as students scramble to meet the deadline.
